My stay at Kaalpul Atitlan Eco Hotel and Spa was a mix of beautiful scenery and some significant issues. While the views of the lake were amazing, the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms left much to be desired. Even though there were some lovely animals around, the service and communication could have been better, especially with the language barrier.
